Practice, Jam and Perform
Our band program is open to everyone, from first graders to folks well into retirement. You don’t have to be a seasoned player to get started. We’ll connect you with a group that matches your playing level and age, and from there, the fun begins. Bands meet weekly for a full hour to rehearse together under the guidance of a coach. You’ll collaborate, work on songs you enjoy, and even come up with original material if you’re feeling creative. Some bands decide to hit the stage at local shows we organize throughout the year. Many of our students stick with the same group over time, and band practice turns into a long-running part of their week.
Teachers With Real-World Experience
Every student in the band program also receives weekly private lessons with instructors who have spent years performing live and touring. These musicians bring personal experience from the stage and studio, and this helps you understand what it takes to not only play your instrument well, but to work as part of a cohesive group. They know how to break things down, give honest feedback, and help your band sound its best.
